Overview
Venkataramanan Associates began as an independent architecture firm in 1969 and has grown into an integrated architecture, interiors and urban design practice. The firm describes itself as a spatial strategy partner that aligns its design with its clients’ business goals.
Its website at vagroup.com presents that body of work and the people behind it.
What we built
Projects lead the navigation, followed by expertise, about, blog, people and careers. The home page moves from a full-width project slideshow into the practice’s five areas of work — real estate, specialised environments, institutional, interior design and urbanism — each linking through to its projects, with client testimonials and studio stories further down.
The site runs on WordPress, so the practice can publish new projects and articles itself.
Design direction
A restrained black, white and grey palette with a single red rule lets the architectural photography do the talking, with coloured panels separating the areas of expertise.
